People who have sex have higher levels of what defends your body against germs, viruses and other intruders. Researchers found that people who do sex once or twice a week had higher level of certain antibody compared to those who do sex less often. In fact you should keep do all other things that make your immune system happy such as; eating right, staying active and getting enough sleep. Sex helps with keeping our bodies warm.

  • Counts as Exercise
Like every other kind of physical activity, sex burns calories, too! Sitting and watching TV burns about 1 calorie per minute. Having sex increases your heart rate and utilizes various muscle groups, burning about 5 calories per minute. Regular sex cannot replace sessions at the gym, but a having an active, healthy sex life is a nice way to get some extra physical activity.

A good sex life is good for your heart. Besides being a great way to raise your heart rate, sex helps keep your estrogen and testosterone levels in balance. “When either of those is low, you begin to get lots of problems like osteoporosis and even heart disease”. Having sex more often may help. Men, who had sex at least twice a week, are half as likely to die with heart disease as men who had sex rarely.

Sex does not only feel good, it can also be good for your health. Sex can be a remedy to your health, taking care of you and your partner’s health is what important. Although sex has many benefit to your health. Be sure to do it moderately and have a health sex life. And always remember too much is harmful.
