When an individual is specialized in more than one career, he or she has many opportunities to work in many different areas. For instance a teacher who happens to also be a community mobilizer, he/she has the ability to not only teach in class but to also act as leader, motivational and inspirational speaker who prompt a community into action.
A chance to learn and acquire new skills:
We need to understand that learning will never stop, if you limit your mind to learn on one particular thing then it will stick on that, but when you make a choice of having a driven desire to know more then you will learn and unlearn what there is. With multiple careers one has that privilege, so why not take a leap of faith and specialize in more than one thing.
Provide you with an extra income:
Money is one important key and it depends on how much you want to make, it is a rare thing today to find a person depending on the money he or she make in one particular job. The World is growing and things keep on being expensive, do not depend on your salary as a banker or as a doctor or as Lawyer. No matter how good those professions sound, you need to be doing something else beside just that so as to increase your income.
Having chance to meet new people and make friends:
Working in more than one profession simply gives you a chance to meet people with different age, gender and professions. People who can challenge and help develop your career and hence change your way of life into better. People who will help you find solutions for your matter or when seeking for new knowledge. As we all aware that self change based on who you associate with.
To get more we simply have to do more, let’s not limit our capabilities, instead we should help ourselves create many chances to get more money, experience and knowledge.
